Roasted Corn
Spread the corn with sage, thyme or dill butter. This is the perfect complement to grilled foods, and makes an easy, but delicious vegetable.

6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
8 ears fresh corn, husks and silks removed
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Heat the oven to 500 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix together the butter and herbs until combined.

Put each ear of corn on a 12-inch-square piece of aluminum foil. Rub some butter on each ear. Roll the foil around the corn to enclose it completely, twisting the ends shut.

Place the wrapped corn in one layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes until tender. To serve, unwrap the corn and pass the salt and pepper at the table.
