Water Chestnuts Wrapped in Bacon
This is a really easy to make hor d'oeuvre recipe.
Serves: 16 h'oeuvres
Prep Time: soak time 120 minutes
Cook Time: 10-15 minutes


2 cans (5 oz. each) water chestnuts, drained
2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
8 slices bacon

Soak water chestnuts in soy sauce, pepper and brown sugar for at least 2 hours. Drain. Wrap 1/3 to 1/2 slice bacon around each nut and secure it with a toothpick. Bake in 350 degree oven until bacon is done.
