Mediterranean Turkey Meatball Sandwich

1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
1/4 cup minced onion
1 1/2 teaspoons poons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 large clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup nonfat sour cream
1/2 medium cucumber, peeled and minced
1/8 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 pita bread, rounds, cut in half
6 lettuce leaves, torn
1 medium tomato, diced

Combine turkey, onion, oregano, mint, parsley, lemon pepper, garlic, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix well and shape into 1 1/4-inch balls (about 18). In a nonstick skillet, brown meatballs over medium heat, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside.

Combine sour cream, cucumber, lemon juice, and pepper in a small bowl.

Assemble sandwiches by placing 3 meatballs in each pita half, topped with cucumber sauce, lettuce, and tomato.
