5 pounds medium shrimp, raw
2 bottles (8 ounces each) Kraft Catalina dressing
5 bay leaves
1 tablespoon celery seed
2 bottles (3 ounces each) capers, undrained
8 whole cloves
20 small (boiling) onions, sliced into rings
2 bottles (10 ounces each) Durkee Famous Dressing

Season one gallon of water with some or all of the
following; salt, black pepper, red pepper, a whole
onion, a stalk of celery, a little fresh lemon
juice and peel. Boil for 10 minutes. Drop in
shrimp and turn off heat. Let stand for 5
minutes. Drain shrimp and run under cold water to
stop cooking. Shell and devein. Combine
remaining ingredients and add cooked shrimp.
Refrigerate mixture overnight. Before serving,
add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with crackers
as an hors d'oeuvre or use to fill half an avocado.
