Put the avocado, coconut milk, orange juice, yogurt, ginger, and lime juice in a blender or the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth and creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste and pulse to mix. If the soup is too thick, add more orange juice or water.
Serve garnished with cilantro and red onion.
