1 3/4 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (Regular, Natural Goodness® or Certified Organic)

3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice

Heat the broth in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil. Stir the rice in the saucepan. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender. Easy Substitution: This recipe will work with any variety of Swanson® Broth. Florentine Simmered Rice: Stir 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, crushed into the broth. Add 1 cup chopped fresh spinach with the rice. Stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese.
