24 ounces frozen hash brown potatoes
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese or 1 pint half-and-half

Use 8x8 glass baking dish. Mix hashbrowns and parmesan cheese together. Add salt if desired. Pat into baking dish. Cover with half and half. Pour melted butter evenly over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown.
