1 pound mushrooms, fresh, sliced
1/2 cup beef bouillon, divided
1/4 teaspoon dried leaf thyme, crumbled
1 large onion, sliced
1 small bay leaf
1 dash pepper

In a large skillet heat 1/4 cup bouillon; add onion, cook 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, remaining 1/4 cup bouillon, bay leaf, thyme and pepper; simmer 5 minutes longer.
