Creamy Roasted Garlic & Onion Meatballs

2 t. butter or margarine
1 large onion, cut in half, then cut into ¼-inch wedges
2 T chopped roasted or regular garlic (from 4-oz. jar)
2 T Gold Medal all-purpose flour
¼ T pepper
1 package (16oz) frozen meatballs
chopped fresh parsley, if desired

1. In 4-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic in butter 10-12 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown.

2. Sprinkle flour and pepper over onion mixture. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Slowly add 1/2&1/2, stirring constantly. Stir in meatballs.

3. Cook 15-20 mins. Stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened & meatballs are hot. Serve in Crockpot on Low heat.
