Pace® Beefy Taco Dip

Bold flavors of Pace® Chunky Salsa, ground beef and chili powder meet mellow cream cheese and Cheddar cheese for a marriage made in appetizer heaven. Serve with plenty of tortilla chips for dipping, and top with optional toppings such as chopped green onion, cilantro or sour cream.

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 cup Pace® Chunky Salsa, *
1/2 pkg. (8-oz. size) cream cheese, cut-up
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Assorted Toppings, (optional)
sour cream, (optional)
tortilla chips

COOK beef with chili powder in skillet until browned. Pour off fat.

ADD salsa, cream cheese and Cheddar cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Sprinkle with Assorted Toppings and sour cream if desired. Serve with chips.

Assorted Toppings: Chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions, sliced pitted ripe olives.
