Asian Marinated Steak
This recipe for grilled steak will really light your fire...the easy-to-make marinade is the key to tender and flavorful steak every time.
Serves: 4 servings

Cook Time: 15 minutes


1/2 cup Crisco® oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 boneless beef top round steak, 3/4-inch thick (about 1 pound)
Hot cooked rice

Stir the oil, soy, ginger and garlic in a shallow nonmetallic dish or resealable plastic bag. Add the steak and turn to coat with the oil mixture to marinate. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.
Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Remove the steak from the marinade. Grill the steak for 15 minutes or to desired doneness, turning once and brushing often with the marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Cut the steak diagonally into very thin slices. Serve with rice.
