1 pound medium carrots
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soft tube margarine
1 tablespoon shallots
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon Lemon juice

COMBINE first seven ingredients in medium saucepan.

HEAT carrots uncovered over medium heat, approximately 15-20 minutes. Stir often until carrots are tender and a little liquid is remaining.

STIR in lemon.
