3 cups all-purpose flour
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
6 1/2 tsp baking powder
10 tsp milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, well chilled, cut into pieces
1 egg, beaten
6 oz. American Spoon Dried Tart Cherries




Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease large baking sheet. Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in dried cherries. Combine milk and egg. Mix into dry ingredients; gather dough into a ball. Roll dough out to1/2 inch thick, cutting 3 inch rounds. Arrange on prepared baking sheet, spacing 1/2 inch apart. Bake until firm to touch, about 20 minutes. Serve warm.
