Cherie's Fat-Free Barbecue Sauce
You don't have to add fat to create great flavor. This fat-free sauce is delicious with beef or chicken.

1 can (10 3/4 ounce) tomato puree
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup blackstrap molasses
2 tablespoons light soy sauce, or tamari
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 garlic cloves, pressed




In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
