Roast Beef with Gravy
Heres how beef broth makes pan gravy better--stir a little flour and a can of Swanson® Beef Broth into the roasting pan and cook up homemade gravy.

3 1/2- to 4-lb. boneless beef bottom round or 3 1/2- to 4-lb. pot roast
1 can (14 oz.) beef broth
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour

PLACE beef in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer. Roast at 350°F. for about 1 hr. or until thermometer reads 155°F., basting frequently with broth. Remove beef.

MIX 1 tbsp. drippings and flour in roasting pan. Gradually stir in remaining broth. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Slice beef and serve with gravy.
