Hot and Sour Soup
This is a very quick soup to prepare, just throw the ingredients together and leave to simmer, that's it!

1/2 pound lean pork, cut into thin strips
1/4 pound (about 7) fresh mushrooms, sliced
8 ounce can water chestnuts, sliced, drained
1/2 cup bamboo shoots, cut into strips
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1 cup firm tofu, cut into 1/2 cubes
2 cups water
green onion, slices for garnish




In slow cooker, combine all ingredients except green onions. Cover;
cook on low 7 to 8 hours. Ladle into individual bowls. Garnish
with green onion slices.
