Kiwi Fruit and Papaya with Lime and Chili
This is a refreshing salad in winter time with a hint of chili to spice up your life.

1/3 cup sugar
Pinch of chili flakes
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon vodka (optional)
Zest and juice of 1 lime
4 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut into 8 wedges
1/2 ripe papaya, peeled, seeded and diced
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons labneh or Greek yogurt

In a small pot, bring the sugar, chili flakes, vinegar, vodka, if using, and 1/4 cup water to a boil. Stir in the lime juice and zest, take off the heat and let cool to room temperature. Chill briefly.

Put the kiwi fruit and papaya in a mixing bowl and pour the chili syrup over the fruit. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Place in serving bowls. Add a dollop of labneh or yogurt and serve.
