Chuck's Chocolate Cookies
These chocolate cookies are to die for.

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes


1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, broken
Powdered sugar

Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water. Combine sugar and eggs. Sift flour and naking powder together; add egg to mixture. Stir in chocolate mixture, vanilla and pecans. Blend well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Pinch off small amounts of dough; for into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on lightly-greased cookie sheets, allowling space for cookies to spread. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
