Pickled Mushrooms
This is a very quick and simple recipe for pickeled mushrooms.
Serves: 8
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes


1 1/4 pounds fresh mushrooms, rinsed
1 medium Bermuda onion, or Spanish, sliced into rings
2/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup salad oil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash freshly ground pepper
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 pinch parsley flakes
1 pinch sweet basil

Combine all ingredients. Boil 3 minutes. This recipe can be doubled.
