Hi-Hat Mushrooms in Wine Sauce
Your guests will love these Hi-Hat Mushrooms in Wine Sauce. Spear mushrooms with toothpicks and serve as a delicious appetizer!

16 medium fresh mushrooms
1/2 pound sausage, ground
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup white wine
1/2 garlic clove

Wash mushrooms, remove and chip stems. Add stems to sausage. Stuff the caps, rounding meat mixture into a high crown. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Mince garlic; mashing to a pulp. Heat tomato sauce, wine garlic and oregano in a chafing dish. When blended, add the mushrooms. Cover and let sauce bubble. Spear mushrooms with toothpicks and serve.
