Sausage, Cheese and Green Chile Pie
Everybody loves unique finger food and appetizers at parties and get togethers. Next time try these quick and easy wedges for easy entertaining.

Cook Time: 35 minutes


1 pound bulk sausage, cooked and drained
1 unbaked pie shell, (9 in.)
2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 jar (16 oz.) ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa, divided
1 can (4 oz.) ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
1 cup sour cream

PREHEAT oven to 375°F.

PLACE sausage in bottom of pie shell; sprinkle with cheese.

COMBINE eggs,1¼ cups salsa, chiles, chili powder, cumin; mix well. Pour over cheese and sausage mixture.

BAKE for 30 to 35 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with remaining salsa and a dollop of sour cream.
