Favorite Apple Pie
An old fashioned favorite dessert!

3 Granny Smith apples or 2 McIntosh apples or 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats or 1/2 cup light brown sugar or 1/2 cup granulated sugar or 2 tablespoons flour or 1 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 teaspoon vanilla or 1/2 stick butter or 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees. Grease a 9" pie plate.

Peel and core the apples. Slice the apples and layer them in the pie plate. Sprinkle the lemon or orange juice on the apples. In a bowl, combine the old fashioned oats, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
Sprinkle the mixture on the apples. Slice the butter into pats and spread them on top of the mixture. Bake for 20 minutes.
