"M&M's"® Mini Shortbread Cookies
Bake these rich shortbread cookies during the holidays or any time. They're terrific for cutting into all sorts of shapes.
Serves: Makes about 3 dozen
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20-25 minutes


1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups canned vanilla frosting
food coloring
12 ounce bag "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits

Preheat the oven to to 300°F.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy and then stir in the flour. Chill, if necessary, before rolling the dough to 1/4 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.

Bake the cookies on ungreased cookie sheets for 20 to 25 minutes. Move cookies to wire racks to cool completely. Tint frosting with food coloring to desired colors. Decorate cookies with frosting and "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
