1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 pounds pound boneless beef sirloin steak, strip or rib steaks, cut into 8 pieces
1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
Hot cooked rice

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook in batches until it's well browned on both sides. Remove the steak and set aside. Pour off any fat.
Stir the picante sauce in the skillet and heat to a boil. Return the steak to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 3 minutes for medium-rare, or to desired doneness, turning the steak over halfway through cooking.
Mushroom Beef Steak Picante: Increase the oil to 2 tablespoons. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they're tender. Remove the mushrooms from skillet and set aside. Add the remaining oil and cook beef as above. Stir in the mushrooms just before serving.
