3/4 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground cloves
1 tablespoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon soda

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well. Then add in the following order, mixing thoroughly after each addition: flour, oats, pecans, raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Combine water and soda; mix into dough. Drop from a spoon onto greased cookie sheets and bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes, or until brown.
