Paella in a Pot

3 pounds chicken, frying, cut up
2 carrots, cut into sticks
2 onions, cut into eighths
1 can chicken broth
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons pimento, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoons oregano, ground
2 cups cooked rice
1/2 pound shrimp, shelled, raw
12 clams, small in shells





In slow-cooking pot, combine chicken, carrots, onions, broth,
garlic, pimento, salt, and oregano. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to
6 hours. Turn control to High. Add cooked rice, shrimp, and clams.
Cover and cook on High for another 30 to 50 minutes or until shrimp
is done.
