Old-Fashioned Drop Sugar Cookies
You'll want to keep this wonderful recipe for sugar cookies that will remind you of cookies your grandmother made. Get out that glass of milk--you're in for a treat!

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons light cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/3 cups flour

Cream butter; beat in sugar, egg, cream and vanilla. Sift salt, baking powder and flour together; add to creamed mixture. Mix well and chill dough. Drop from tip of spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 50-60 cookies.
