1/2 cup sugar
grated lime rind
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 Refrigerator Sweet Yeast Dough, (see our recipe)
butter or margarine, melted
1 cup Powdered sugar
2 tablespoons lime juice

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine sugar, grated lime rind, and nutmeg in a small bowl and set aside. Divide Refrigerator Sweet Yeast Dough into 2 portions and roll each portion into a 9 x 16-inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter to within 1/2 inch of edges. Sprinkle sugar mixture legthwise over 1/2 of each piece. Fold in half and pinch edges to seal. Beginning at narrow end, cut into 1/2-inch strips. Twist each piece twice and place on a greased cookie sheet. Cover with a cloth and let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Mix powdered sugar and lime juice. Brush on warm twists.
