Chicken with Wild Rice

1 box (6 ounces) Uncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice
1 2 1/2-3 pounds chicken
Salt and pepper
garlic powder
1 can condensed onion soup
1 soup can water




Pour packet of rice and packet of seasoning into baking pan. Cut chicken into pieces and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place chicken pieces, skin side up, on top of rice. Combine soup and water and pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, in 375 degree oven for 1 hour.
