3 green onions
1 cloves garlic, minced and crushed
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon chili sauce
2 tablespoons sherry
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons oil
1 pound raw shrimp, cleaned
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Mince white parts of green onions. Mince green
parts separately and set aside. Mix together
white parts of the green onions, garlic, ginger,
ketchup, chili sauce, sherry, soy sauce, and
sugar. Heat oil in a wok or heavy skillet. Add
shrimp, and stir-fry until color just begins to
change. Stir in onion mixture. Add salt and
pepper and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes
more. Garnish with minced green parts of onions.
Serve with toothpicks.
