1 pound raw red kidney beans, red kindey beans
46 ounce can chicken broth
2 cups water
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1 cup barley
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon thyme

Night before, rinse beans, place in large bowl with water to cover and soak overnight. Drain and rinse beans. Put all ingredients in large crockpot, stir, cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
