6 large or 8 small hard-cooked eggs
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1 pint heavy cream
Salt and pepper
Buttered bread crumbs

Grate whites and yolks of eggs separately. Melt butter over low heat and stir in flour. Gradually add cream, stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Mix grated whites with cream sauce and pour into buttered 1-1/2-quart round casserole. Cover with layer of buttered bread crumbs. Add grated yolks and top with another layer of buttered crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-45 minutes.
