1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Few dashes Tabasco
Few dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion juice
Dash lemon juice
cayenne, and black pepper
12 slices bread, day-old sandwich
egg, hard-cooked or grated sharp cheese for topping

Mash sardines well. Stir in mayonnaise, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, onion juice, lemon juice, cayenne and black pepper. Cut rounds out of bread. Toast on one side only.
