Tropical Chicken...Cha Cha Cha

1/3 cup pineapple juice
1 tablespoon Crisco® Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
6 chicken breasts, halved, boned and skinned (about 1 1/2 pounds)




Prepare a medium-hot charcoal firs. Combine pineapple juice, oil, salt, ginger, thyme, turmeric and red pepper flakes ina large non-aluminum pan and whisk until well blended. Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry. Marinate at room temperature, turning several times to coat well. Remove chicken from marinade and place skinned-side down on an oiled cooking grid set 4 to 6 inches above ashed coals. Grill, turning once and basting occasionally with marinade, until chicken is white throughout but still juicy inside, about 8 to 10 minutes.
