Cranberry Leg of Lamb

1 American lamb leg, boned, rolled(5-8 pounds)
2 cloves garlic, cut into slivers
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon orange peel, grated
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Cut small slits in the leg of lamb and insert garlic slivers in the meat. Rub the surface of the lamb with oil and rosemary. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 25 minutes per pound or until meat thermometer registers 150 degrees for medium rare. In medium saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and heat over medium heat until thickened and smooth, about ten minutes. If desired, some of the sauce may be spooned over the lamb during the last ten minutes of roasting to glaze. Serve remaining sauce with lamb.
