Oniony Lemon Chicken Bake

1 1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 egg
1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast half
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
lemon slice

Heat the oven to 400°F. Place the onions and lemon zest in a 1-quart resealable plastic bag. Seal the bag. Lightly crush the onions with a rolling pin.
Beat the egg in a shallow dish with a fork. Dip the chicken into the egg and coat with the onion mixture. Place the chicken onto a rimmed baking sheet and sprinkle with the lemon juice.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Garnish with the lemon slices, if desired.
Ingredient Note: We develop our recipes using a 4-to 5-ounce skinless, boneless chicken breast half per serving. However, there are a range of sizes available in-store, from the butcher counter to the meat case and the freezer section. Use whichever you prefer- just follow the recipe as written above for the best result. If you're using larger chicken breasts they may require a little longer cooking time.
