1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
dash salt
1 cup Jif® peanut butter
2 cups crisp rice cereal
1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar

Stir the granulated sugar, corn syrup, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the peanut butter and mix well. Stir in the cereal.
Pat the peanut butter mixture evenly into a greased 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking pan.
Microwave the butter and brown sugar in a small microwave-safe bowl, covered with a paper towel on HIGH for 45 seconds or until the butter is melted. Stir until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Gradually stir in the confectioners' sugar and mix well.
Spread the brown sugar mixture over the peanut butter mixture and refrigerate until it's firm. Cut the chilled mixture into 48 small bars.
