Slow-Simmered Picante Pot Roast
It couldn't be easier to make this fabulous beef chuck roast that slowly simmers in picante sauce until tender and delicious.

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 boneless beef chuck roast (about 3 pounds)
1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce




Heat the oil in a 6-quart saucepot over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until it's well browned on all sides.
Add the picante sauce and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 2 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
Remove the beef from the saucepot and let it cool slightly. Cut the beef into thin slices across the grain. Return the beef to the saucepot and heat through.
