Curry Burgers
These deliciously different burgers are seasoned with a little curry powder, topped with Swiss cheese and served in pita pockets. They're a great alternative to the usual burgers.

1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup
1 teaspoon curry powder
6 slices Swiss cheese
1 medium red onion, sliced
3 pita bread, cut in half, forming 2 pockets




Shape the beef into 6 (1/2-inch thick) burgers.
Cook the burgers in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until well browned on both sides.  Pour off any fat.

Stir the soup and curry powder in the skillet and heat to a boil.  Reduce the heat to low.  Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until desired doneness.
Top the burgers with the cheese and cook until the cheese is melted.  Serve the burgers and onion in the pita halves.
