Marinated Eye Round Steaks
In the mood for a really good steak?  A simple marinade of beef broth and lemon juice tenderizes beef steaks that can be either grilled or broiled to your liking.

Swanson® Beef Stock or 1 3/4 cups Swanson® Beef Broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 beef eye round steaks, 3/4-inch thick each




Stir the broth, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder and black pepper in a large shallow nonmetallic dish or a gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Add the steaks and turn to coat. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning the steaks occasionally during marinating. Remove the steaks from the marinade.
Lightly oil the grill rack and heat the grill to medium. Grill the steaks for 15 minutes for medium or to desired doneness, turning the steaks over once during grilling and brushing often with the marinade. Discard the remaining marinade.
