Quick Lamb Stroganoff

12 ounces lamb sirloin, cut into thin strips
1 large onion, cut in thin wedges
2 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1 jar (12 ounces) gravy, stroganoff
1/3 cup light sour cream
1 tablespoon red wine
6 to 8 ounces egg noodles, dry, cooked

In a 10-inch skillet, cook onion in hot oil over medium-high heat until crisp tender. Remove onion from skillet. Add lamb; cook and stir over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until no pink remains. Return onion to skillet with meat. Stir in thyme. Combine stroganoff sauce, sour cream and wine; stir into skillet. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook 1 minute to heat through.

* You can use red wine vinegar instead of the wine.
