Pasta Marinara

1 pound spaghetti
2 28-ounce cans peeled plum tomatoes
3 teaspoons olive oil
5 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
2 6-ounce cans tomato paste
2 teaspoons oregano, dried, crumbled
2/3 cup parsley, fresh

Prepare the pasta according to directions. Puree the tomatoes in a blender or food processor. In a medium saucepan, heat the oil and sautee the garlic. Add the pureed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano salt and pepper. Bring the sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in the parsley and pour over the pasta.
