Cucumber and Red Pepper Sandwiches
These little sandwiches are good to eat with a cup of hot soup.

4 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspooon dried dill
16 slices bread, crusts removed
1 cucumber, cut into thin slices
2 red peppers, cut into thin rings




Mash the cream cheese with a fork and work in the mayonnaise to make a smooth spread. Press the garlic through a garlic press and add it to the spread with the Worcestershire sauce and the dill. Mix well.

Spread the cream cheese mixture thinly on the bread slices. Arrange the cucumber slices and red pepper rings evenly over 8 of the bread slices. Top with the remaining 8 slices. Using a serrated knife, cut the sandwiches into triangles.
