2 tbsp. butter or 2 tbsp. margarine
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or 2 1/2 cups SWANSON natural goodness less salt chicken broth
12 oz. fresh mushrooms, halved
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed or 1 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
1/4 cup light cream

HEAT butter in saucepot. Add flour and cook and stir 2 min. Stir in broth and heat to a boil. Cook over low heat 10 min.

PLACE mushrooms and onion in food processor bowl. Cover and process until pureed. Add to broth mixture with thyme and cream. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min.
