Pace® Layered Chili Bean Dip

Ground beef is seasoned with chili powder and Pace® Picante Sauce and mixed with black beans, and topped with chopped tomatoes, diced avocado, shredded Cheddar cheese and sliced olives for a fabulous hot dip to serve with tortilla chips.

1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 can (about 15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
3/4 cup Pace® Picante Sauce
1 large tomato, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 large avocado, peeled, pitted and diced (about 1 cup)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
tortilla chips

COOK beef and chili powder in skillet until browned. Pour off fat.

ADD beans and picante sauce. Heat through. Top with tomato, avocado, cheese and olives. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 7 1/2 cups.

Tip: Also delicious with warmed flour tortillas.
