Pasta with Meat and Mushrooms.
What a wonderful dish this is. I came up with it on my own..Hope your family enjoys it as much as my husband has.. Its so sooooo GOOD!! When making this recipe I use different amounts of the ingredients each time I make it..

1 12 or 16oz package penne pasta
1-1/2 bs ground chuck, or 1/2 lb of ground chuck and 1/2 pound ground lamb (you can find at any health food store like wild oats)
1 red bell pepper, Chopped or to your tasting
1 large onion, chopped or to your tasting
2 8oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced Or less to your tasting
4 medium or large fresh tomatoes, chopped
1 pound greek Kalamata olives, pitted and cut in half
1 package prosciutto, cut in pieces, more or less to your tasting
1 package ham, cut in pieces. (found in health food stores wils oats)saute with the proucitto

One good size deep frying pan, Fry the ground chuck and lamb untill done drain in collander, Saute the proucitto drain on paper towel. Add both meats back to the same pan. add the Red peppers, Mushrooms, onion, tomatoes. olives to the meat mixture pour about 1/3 cup olive oil over mixture mix all together cook for about 30 minutes or more to your tasting.. Add pepper to taste..

In another pan get water boiling for the pasta. cook as package direction. when done add pasta to casserole pan pour meat mixture over pasta mix well. Bake for about 20 minutes at 350 oven I serve with italian bread or New York garlic bread.. Enjoy!!
