MUSHROOM RICE PILAF

1 cup water
1 tsp chicken bouillon granules
1 cup uncooked instant rice
2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
3 green onions, thinly sliced
1-2 Tbsp butter, or stick margarine
1/4 cup white wine, or chicken broth




In saucepan, bring water & bouillon to a boil. Stir in rice. Remove from the heat; cover & let stand for 5 min. Meanwhile, in a skillet saute mushrooms & onions in butter and wine/broth until mushrooms are tender and liquid is absorbed, about 6 min. Fluff rice with fork; stir in mushrooms mixture.
