Cabbage Salad
A wonderful tasting salad that is great at all occasions & good for you too!

1 whole head cabbage
1/2 lb sunflower kernels
1 package slivered almonds
1 tbs. butter, (or more if needed)
1 package Ramen Noodles, crushed
1/2 cup sugar, (or more to your taste)
1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
3 tbs. rice vinegar
1 cup Crisco, or olive oil.




Chop cabbage to desired portions & rinse well. Place in large container. Fry slivered almonds & sunflower kernels in butter until browned, set aside. Add to cabbage spring onions, sugar, oil, almonds & sunflower kernels and all remaining ingredients. Mix well. Chill in refrigerator.
