Non-stick cooking spray
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
6 cups toasted rice cereal
1 2/3 cups (11-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Butterscotch Flavored Morsels
1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ ® TOLL HOUSE ® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

COAT 13 x 9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

COMBINE peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup in large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until melted. Remove from heat. Add cereal; stir until thoroughly coated. Press onto bottom of prepared baking pan.

MICROWAVE butterscotch morsels and semi-sweet chocolate morsels in large, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 minute; stir. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread over cereal mixture.

REFRIGERATE for 15 to 20 minutes or until topping is firm. Cut into bars.

LITTLE KITCHEN HELPER HINTS
Older children can melt the chocolate and butterscotch in the microwave with adult supervision. Show them how the chocolate holds its shape until it`s stirred and explain that it easily burns. That`s why you`re cooking in short bursts. Make sure the kids use mitts to touch the bowl.

Kids can measure in the cereal and spread the melted butterscotch topping.

Teach kids how to read the cereal box for nutritional information.
