Simple Rice Pudding
Rich, creamy rice pudding that so delicious and simple to make, it won’t last in your refrigerator!

1 cup long grain rice or 2 cups water or 1/2 teaspoon salt or 5 cups whole milk or 3/4 cup sugar or 1 teaspoon vanilla or ground cinnamon




In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add rice, cover pot and reduce heat to a simmer, allowing rice to cook until water is absorbed.

Stir milk and sugar into the rice and allow it to cook uncovered over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir frequently until the rice resembles a creamy porridge consistency. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour rice pudding into individual serving cups or large serving bowl. Cover by pressing plastic wrap directly onto the rice pudding. Serve the rice pudding warm or cold and sprinkle with cinnamon.
